Man arrested after weapons and gel blasters seized at Noarlunga Downs

On Tuesday 8 September, Southern District police attended a home at Noarlunga Downs in relation to a search.

During the search, police locating and seizing six gel blasters, a set of throwing knives, a karambit knife, a butterfly knife, cannabis and drug paraphernalia.

A 24-year-old Noarlunga Downs man was arrested and charged with, six counts of possessing a firearm without a licence, six counts of possessing an unregistered firearm, six counts of possessing a firearm without registration marks and three counts of possessing a prohibited weapon.

He was also fined for drug related offences.

The man was bailed to appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court at a later date.
