Driver narrowly escapes serious injury after Chandlers Hill crash

Just after 7am today, Tuesday 11 August, police and emergency crews responded to a single car collision, where a Mitsubishi sedan left Education Road and crashed into a tree.

Fire crews and SA Ambulance worked at the scene to remove the sole occupant from the car wreckage.

The driver, a 21-year-old Seaford Heights man was taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries only.

The road has since reopened however traffic restrictions were in place for several hours due to the fallen tree and vehicle blocking the road.

Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
