Death at Mawson Lakes

Police are preparing a report for the Coroner following the death of a woman at Mawson Lakes today.
Just after midday on Wednesday 8 July, police were called to Ibis Way, Mawson Lakes after the body of a 69-year-old woman was located in a creek.
Northern District and Major Crime detectives attended the scene, along with Forensic Response officers.
The woman's death is not being treated as suspicious..
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
