Truck fire at Moorlands

At about 5.20pm on Monday 6 July, police and fire crews were called to reports of a truck fire on the Mallee Highway.

Fire crews worked to extinguish the blaze not before significant damage was caused to the road train.

Fortunately, the driver, a 54-year-old man, was not injured.

Traffic restrictions are still in place, and the truck will be towed from the area.
