Police are investigating an incident earlier this year and are seeking help from the public.
Between 11.55am and 12.10pm on Tuesday 3 of February, a 23-year-old man sustained serious burns at Broughton Place, Salisbury Downs after a man poured petrol on him before setting him alight.
The victim returned home and called SA Ambulance where he was rushed to hospital for treatment. The victim sustained serious and life changing injuries as a result of the incident which resulted in him being placed in an induced coma for two weeks.
Northern District commenced an investigation and identified that four suspects, three men and a woman, had left the scene in a white Ford sedan.
That vehicle was discovered to be stolen and has since been recovered by police.
Three people were arrested in relation to the stolen vehicle and have been charged with illegal use of a motor vehicle.
Investigations into the serious assault are ongoing and Northern District detectives are following positive lines of enquiry.
Police have released CCTV footage of the Ford sedan and the victim's black Alfa Romeo in the area at the time of the assault.
