Whyalla Police seize stolen power tools

On Friday 21 August, Whyalla CIB detectives searched a Whyalla Norrie address as part of an ongoing investigation into various business break-ins and thefts in the Whyalla arear this year.

A 32-year-old Whyalla Stuart man was arrested in connection with a break-in that occurred at a Whyalla business on 7 August.  He was charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass, unlawful possession, theft, drive disqualified and with unassigned plates.  He was refused police bail and will appear in the Whyalla Magistrates Court today, Monday 24 August.

It will be alleged investigators found numerous power tools suspected of being stolen at the address.  Some items have already been identified by the rightful owners; however, some property is still to be claimed.
