Fatal crash Echunga

A man has died following a fatal crash at Echunga this afternoon.
Just before 5.30pm on Monday 19 May, police were called to Kavanagh Road at Echunga after reports a car crashed into a tree.
Sadly, the driver of the car, a 68-year-old man from Lower Mitcham, died at the scene.
Major Crash investigators attended to determine the cause of the crash.
Kavanagh Road was closed to all traffic but has since re-opened.
The man’s death is the 32nd life lost on South Australian roads this year.
