Missing hiker at Mount Remarkable

The alarm was raised about 9.15pm last night, Tuesday 1 September, when a woman did not return from a hike.

PolAir was dispatched to the area to commence searching overnight.  Emergency services were deployed to undertake ground searches along the trails for the missing woman.

Further resources, including police patrols, Mounted Operations and SES volunteers, will gather at Mount Remarkable this morning and searching will recommence at first light.
