Officer in Charge of the Far North Region, Superintendent Josh Heinze says “The ATV will complement our fleet and be an additional tool to be used in a range of policing operations. The ATV is proving to be a talking point amongst the community with officers patrolling in the ATV reporting increased community interactions and curiosity around the vehicle.
Over the coming months we will increase our number of trained members to safely operate the ATV so its presence in the community will increase. Please don’t be shy in approaching police officers and asking questions about the ATV when you see them out in the community.”
