Drug arrests in Whyalla

On Wednesday, 17 September 2026, officers from Eyre and Western LSA conducted a coordinated police operation targeting the sale and supply of illicit drugs, resulting in searches being conducted at four addresses in Whyalla.

As a result, a 52-year-old Mullaquana man was reported for unlawful possession after police allegedly located more than $50,000 in cash suspected of being the proceeds of unlawful activity.

A 39-year-old Whyalla Stuart woman was arrested during the search for hindering police and will appear before Whyalla Magistrates Court on 16 November.

In a separate search at a Whyalla address, police arrested a 32-year-old woman after allegedly locating evidence of methamphetamine and GHB trafficking.

She has been charged with two counts of traffic a controlled drug and will appear before the Whyalla Magistrates Court on 23 November.

Investigations remain ongoing.
