Police investigate Modbury robbery

Just before 6pm, Thursday 25 June, two suspects armed with weapons, entered a business on North-East Road and assaulted two staff members before leaving on foot.

Eastern District patrols were quick to the scene however after an extensive search of the area the suspects were not located.

The two victims, a 27-year-old man and 29-year-old man were taken to hospital for treatment of their injuries.

Crime Scene Investigators and Eastern District Detectives attended the scene.

They were last seen on foot, in a southerly direction on North East Road.
