Peak hour bus crash in Hackney

Just before 8am this morning Thursday 8 May, police and emergency services were tasked to Hackney Road after reports a bus had collided with a van.
The bus had passengers on board at the time of the collision, thankfully the driver and passengers were not seriously injured.
The driver of the van a 51-year-old man and passenger a 17-year-old boy from Basket Range did not receive any serious injuries.
As a result of the police investigation into the collision, the driver of the van will be issued an expiation notice for failing to give way.
