Man arrested at Medindie

Just after 4.15am on Wednesday 26 August, police were called to a dealership on Main North Road, after reports of a man lying on the ground beside a car while a car alarm was sounding.

Eastern District patrols attended and found BMW missing a wheel and a man in the tray of a Isuzu ute parked nearby. He was searched and police located two jacks, a tyre iron and a socket set.

The 48-year-old Elizabeth Downs man was arrested and charged with interfering with a motor vehicle, theft, possess an article to commit an offence and unlawful possession.

The man was bailed to attend the Adelaide Magistrates Court at a later date.
