Injured man found after break-in at Adelaide

Just before 7.30am on Thursday 22 October, police were called to a business on Wright Street after three rear windows had been smashed to gain entry to the property.

When police arrived, they discovered a man lying on the ground at the back of the business with lacerations to his hands and feet and a suspected broken leg. Officers rendered first aid prior to SA Ambulance taking the man to hospital for treatment.

Police will allege the man broke into the property sometime overnight and suspect he injured himself during the incident and while attempting to escape.

A 42-year-old man from Adelaide was reported for serious criminal trespass and he will be summonsed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court at a later date.
