House fire at Greenacres

Just after 2am on Sunday 11 May, emergency services were called to Esther Binks Avenue at Greenacres after reports of a house on fire.

Fortunately, no one was inside the home at the time and MFS crew quickly extinguished the fire.

The blaze caused extensive damage to the front bedroom and smoke damage to the rest of the house.

Fire technicians will be attending the scene this morning to determine the cause of the fire.
