A man has been detected drink driving following a crash at Medindie last night.
Just after 7pm on Friday 24 July, police were called to Nottage Terrace after a Hyundai sedan crashed into a parked car.
The driver sustained minor injuries and was subsequently breath tested. He allegedly produced a blood alcohol reading of 0.191, almost four times the legal limit.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
A 40-year-old man from Greenacres was reported for drink driving and issued with a twelve-month instant loss of licence. He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
