Drink driver in Adelaide

A drink driver has crashed his car in Adelaide overnight.

Just before 2am, Sunday 31 May, Police were on Glover Avenue in Adelaide when they observed that a grey Suzuki had driven through a reserve and into nearby rocks.

The driver, a 22-year-old man from Hallett Cove was spoken to and submitted to a breath test where he returned a positive result of 0.223, four times the legal limit.

The driver was not injured.

He was reported for drink driving and issued a 12-month instant loss of licence. His car was also impounded.

He will be summonsed to appear in the Magistrates Court at a later date.
