22 Sep 2025 9:01am

Important upgrades to the Two Wells Police Station will begin soon, with the station closed to the public from 26 September.

Officer in Charge of the Barossa Region, Chief Inspector Mark Collise welcomed the upgrades saying it will ensure the increase in police officers for the Two Wells have a comfortable base.

“With the expansion of homes in the Two Wells area, we’ll have seven police officers stationed here going forward,” Chief Inspector Collise said.

“The upgrades to the station mean it will be able to accommodate up to 20 staff in the coming years as the community continues to grow.”

The station will be closed from 26 September reopening in December 2025 following the internal renovations.

“The community will still see police in the area as they travel from nearby stations into the town and surrounding areas. The response capabilities of the Two Wells patrols remain the same.”
