West Beach assault arrest

About 7pm Saturday 6 December, emergency services were called to a residential address on Seaview Road, West Beach, after reports of an assault.

Patrols arrived and found a 21-year-old West Beach man with a laceration to his stomach.  He was treated at hospital for a minor injury.

A 22-year-old Moana woman was arrested at the scene and charged with assault causing harm. She was bailed to appear at Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on Thursday 22 January.

Investigations are continuing, but it is believed the people involved are known to each other and this was not a random incident.
