Man arrested after theft in Cheltenham

Just after 9.25pm on Friday 28 August, police were called to a property on Stroud Street North, after reports a man had taken items from the front yard of a home.

Police searched the area and located a 56-year-old Adelaide man with a trolley nearby. He was searched and police located the stolen items, cannabis and a medical chair from a nearby hospital.

The man was arrested and charged with theft and unlawful possession and the items were returned.

He was granted bail to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court at a later date.
