Man arrested for break-ins in the Western suburbs

A man was arrested last night after allegedly damaging vehicles, breaking into one home, and attempting to enter another at Tennyson.

About 10pm on Monday 20 April, police were called to Military Road, Grange after reports of a disturbance.

Police searched the area locating the suspect nearby where he was arrested without incident.

The 39-year-old man from Hillbank was arrested and charged with numerous offences including property damage, serious criminal trespass and unlawfully on premises.

His bail was refused and he is expected to appear in court later today.
