Drink driver caught at Queenstown

Police stopped a Ford SUV on Old Port Road, Queenstown, about 2.30am on Thursday 17 September and submitted the driver to a breath test and drug screening.

The 28-year-old Royal Park woman returned a positive breath test of 0.144 - nearly three times the legal limit.

She was reported for drink driving and driving while suspended.

The woman’s vehicle was impounded for 28 days, and she will be summoned to appear in court at a later date.
