Truck hits tree at Stonyfell

Just before 6pm, Tuesday 30 June police were called to Penfold Road at Stonyfell after reports a truck that was carrying a container, collided with a tree.

The truck driver and passenger were uninjured.

A crane will be required to remove the tree from the truck, until this occurs, Penfold Road will be closed for all traffic between Stonyfell Road and Allendale Road.

Motorists are asked to find an alternative route where possible.

Investigations are continuing.
