Speeding driver loses car at Elizabeth Vale

About 7pm on Saturday 16 May, a Holden sedan was detected by a speed camera travelling at 150km/h in an 80km/h zone on the North South Motorway at Croydon Park.

Police attended the owners address at Elizabeth Vale and spoke with a 20-year-old man who officers will allege was the driver and holder of an already disqualified licence.

He was subjected to driver testing, providing a drug test positive to cannabis.

The driver was reported multiple driving offences and will attend court at a later date.

The car was impounded for 28-days and he was issued a three-month an immediate loss of licence notice.
