Speeder caught at Dry Creek

A man has lost his licence after he was caught speeding at Dry Creek last night.

Just after 7.30pm on Thursday 10 September, police were conducting speed detection duties on the Port River Expressway when they recorded a Mercedes-Benz sedan travelling at 164km/h in a 90km/h zone.

The driver, a 20-year-old Ingle Farm man, was reported for excessive speed and breach of provisional licence conditions.

His car was impounded for 28 days, he was issued an immediate loss of licence and he will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
