Fatal crash at Port Germein

About 3.20pm on Sunday 27 September, emergency services were called to the Augusta Highway after reports of a crash involving a Toyota sedan and a truck.

The driver of the Toyota, a 63-year-old woman from Napperby, died at the scene.

The driver of the truck, a 29-year-old Angle Vale man, was not injured.

Major Crash officer attended the scene to examine the circumstances of the collision.

Roads were closed in the area for several hours but have since reopened.

The woman’s death is the 84^th life lost on SA roads this year.
