Fatal crash at Burdett

Just before 8.30am today (Monday 31 August) police and emergency services were called to Boundary Road, Burdett after reports a Holden Ute had crashed into a tree.

The driver and solo occupant, a 61-year-old Tailem Bend man, sadly died while being conveyed to hospital by SA Ambulance Service.

Major Crash Investigators are examining the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Road closures will be in place until the scene has been cleared.

The man's death is the 76th life lost on South Australian roads this year.
