P-plater crashes into Modbury shopfront

Police were called to North East Road, Modbury, at 8.30pm on Thursday 20 August following reports that a Subaru station wagon had lost control and crashed into the front of a travel agency.

Fortunately, the driver, a 17-year-old girl from Banksia Park, was not injured.

State Emergency Service personnel attended the scene to assist in securing the damaged shopfront.

The driver was issued with an expiation notice and her vehicle was towed from the scene.
