Drink driver caught at Mount Barker

About 8pm on Thursday 16 April, police stopped a Volkswagen sedan on Heysen Boulevard for the purpose of a driver test.

It will be alleged the driver a 52-year-old local woman returned a positive result of 0.196- almost four times the legal limit.

She was reported for drink driving, issued a 12-month instant loss of licence notice and her car was impounded for 28 days.

She will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
