08 Jun 2026 3:33pm

Two women have been caught drink driving after being stopped at Camden Park yesterday.

About 11.45am on Sunday 7 June, police stopped a Mazda SUV on Gunnawarra Avenue and breath tested the driver. A 28-year-old woman from Trott Park allegedly produced a blood alcohol reading of 0.115. It will be alleged there were two children in the car at the time of driving.

At the same time, an MG station wagon was stopped at a nearby static breath testing station on Anzac Highway. The driver, a 54-year-old woman from Marleston, allegedly produced a blood alcohol reading of 0.084.

Both women were reported for drink driving, issued with a six-month immediate loss of licence notice and their cars were impounded for 28 days. They will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
