Stolen car crashes at Seacombe Gardens

Police are investigating a hit-run crash involving a stolen car at Seacombe Gardens.

About 12.15pm on Sunday 17 May, emergency services were called to Limbert Avenue after a black Volkswagen sedan crashed into a fence and a stobie pole.

Fortunately, there were no reports of any injuries.

Police were quickly in attendance and searched the area locating the driver a15-year-old boy from Gilles Plains and passenger a 13-year-old boy from Paradise nearby.

The pair were arrested and charged with drive a motor vehicle without owner’s consent.

They have been refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Youth Court on Monday.

Checks on the registration revealed the car was stolen from Windsor Gardens overnight.
