31 Oct 2026 7:11am

A young man has been fined after crashing his car at Seaford Meadows overnight.

Police were called to Seaford Road, Seaford Meadows, about 2.35am on Saturday 31 October after reports a Suzuki Swift had collided with a kerb, causing the vehicle's rear right wheel to detach.

Fortunately, no one was injured.

Patrols attended and spoke with the P-plate driver, an 18-year-old Aldinga Beach man. He underwent a breath test and returned a positive result of 0.047.

The man was issued with a $908 fine for driving without proper control of a motor vehicle and breaching the zero-blood alcohol limit that applies to provisional licence holders.

The Suzuki was towed from the scene.
