Today, police arrested a 48-year-old man from the northern suburbs for two counts of failing to report contact with a child and four counts of breaching his reporting obligations.
He was charged and bailed to appear in Elizabeth Magistrates Court on 19 August 2026.
Detective Chief Inspector Naomi Oberscheidt, Officer in Charge Offender Management Section states, "Registered offenders have a legal responsibility to comply with their reporting obligations, which are designed to help protect children and enhance community safety.
“South Australia Police takes any alleged breach of these obligations seriously and will continue to actively monitor compliance and hold offenders accountable when they fail to meet their requirements.”
