Munno Para West driver over five times the limit

About 12.40am on Thursday 5 November, patrols were called to Chellaston Road after reports that the horn of a white SUV had been sounding after it had crashed into a parked car.

Police attended and found a white Jaecoo SUV that had collided with a parked vehicle. The driver underwent a breath test, which returned a reading of 0.256, more than five times the legal blood alcohol limit.

The 27-year-old Mansfield Park woman was reported for drink driving, driving without due care, issued with a 12-month instant loss of licence and had her vehicle impounded for 28 days.

She will be summonsed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court at a later date.
