Man arrested at Brahma Lodge

About 6.30pm on Friday 21 August, police were called to the rear car park of a hotel after reports a man had been confronted by another man with a knife.

Northern District patrols quickly attended the area and located a man in Toyota station wagon nearby.

The car was searched with officers locating and seizing a knife.

A 56-year-old Adelaide man was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and carrying an offensive weapon and served a 3 month barring order.

He was granted bail and will be summonsed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court at a later date.

There were no reported physical injuries as a result of the incident.
