Police are investigating after a vacant house was damaged by fire at Smithfield Plains last night.
Police and fire crews were called to the Crittenden Road property just after 11.45pm on Wednesday 17 June, following reports of a structure fire.
Fire crews arrived to find the house fully ablaze and worked to extinguish the fire, which caused extensive damage to the house.
Fire cause investigators attended the scene.
Police believe the fire was deliberately lit and urge anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area around the time of the incident to contact Crime Stoppers.
