Northern District police attended the Connected Beginnings Playford and Salisbury Expo today, Friday 14 April, at the Bagster Community Centre in Salisbury North, supporting a community-focused initiative aimed at Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families with young children.
The expo brought together stakeholders from a range of government and non‑government organisations to raise awareness of the services and supports available to families within the community.
Officers were warmly welcomed and spent the day engaging with families and young people, participating in activities, and strengthening positive relationships.
The event provided an opportunity for police to listen, learn, and work alongside community partners in a culturally respectful environment, reinforcing SAPOL’s commitment to building trust and strong relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
