Murray Mallee Police detected the following traffic offences over the weekend.
At 8.20pm on Friday 17 April, police stopped a Holden station wagon on Station Drive, Tailem Bend for the purpose of a driver test.
It will be alleged the driver a 58-year-old local woman returned a positive result of 0.099.
The driver was reported for drink driving, issued a six-month instant loss of licence notice and her car was impounded for 28 days.
About 8.20pm on Friday 17 April, police stopped a Toyota utility on Swanport Road, Murray Bridge for the purpose of a driver test.
It will be alleged the driver a 52-year-old man from Murray Bridge returned a positive result 0.110.
He was reported for drink driving, issued a six-month instant loss of licence notice and his car impounded for 28 days.
At 6.30pm on Saturday 18 April, police stopped a Holden sedan on View Street, Loxton for the purpose of a driver test.
It will be alleged the driver a 57-year-old woman from Loxton returned a positive result of 0.138.
She was reported for drink driving, issued a six-month instant loss of licence notice and her car was impounded for 28 days.
Between Friday 17 April and Monday 20 April, two drivers were stopped by Murray Mallee police on separate occasions where it will be alleged they both tested positive for drugs.
The drivers were issued a three-month instant loss of licence notice.
All drivers will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
