Murray Bridge community events

On Tuesday 8 September, Murray Bridge Police welcomed riders completing the wall-to-wall ride for remembrance. The wall-to-wall ride for remembrance celebrates and remembers Police Officers from around Australia who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in their course of duty.

More than 1800 Police officers ride from their respective states converging on the National Police memorial in Canberra. More than 150 riders stopped into Murray Bridge for breakfast, coffee and a catch up enroute from the police academy.

Later that day, Murray Bridge Crime Prevention section, in collaboration with Murray Bridge Marketplace, held another successful coffee with a cop. More than 70 people called in to grab a free security combination padlock and gain valuable crime prevention advice while seizing the opportunity to interact with the Police horses.

The next coffee with a cop is planned for Tuesday 3 November where the special guest will be senior management from the Murray Mallee region.
