Copper wire stolen from Monteith

Police are investigating the theft of copper wire from Monteith.

About 8.30pm on Monday 1 June, 20 metres of copper wire was stolen from the train crossing near Orland Road.

The railway lines and box containing some of the wiring was damaged during the theft.
