Police conclude latest search for Trisha Graf

Police have concluded renewed investigations at Andamooka searching for evidence in connection with the disappearance of Trisha Graf, 41.

Major Crime Investigation Branch, STAR Group, Far North and State Operations Support Branch officers and SES members have examined 315 points of interest over the past two days that included mine shafts and disused diggings.

While no evidence was recovered during the ground searches, police have not ruled out returning to the area as the investigation continues.

Police today seized one vehicle of interest in the investigation at Andamooka and this is now being forensically examined.

Police have returned to Andamooka and have resumed investigations into the disappearance of Trisha Graf, 41.

Major Crime Investigation Branch, STAR Group, Far North and State Operations Support Branch officers and SES members are searching mine shafts near a residential premises and east of Andamooka for evidence.

An update on the new searches will be provided as they progress.

On 23 February 2026 police searched a septic tank at a residential address in Andamooka, but no evidence was located. Further searching at that time was abandoned because of weather conditions.

Trisha Graf was at the Roxby Downs hotel at 12.19am on Friday 12 December 2025. She left a short time later and was driving a white 2012 Ford Territory, SA registration S254BCX, accompanied by a friend.

After leaving the hotel Trisha travelled from Roxby Downs towards Andamooka before colliding with a kangaroo a short distance from the Andamooka Township.

After striking the kangaroo Trisha and her friend continued onto Andamooka where they visited a home in the north-western area of the town. Trisha left just before 2am to travel the short distance home.  Trisha was last seen driving along Dunstan Drive, Andamooka.

Just after midday on Friday 12 December 2025, Trisha’s partner and a friend were searching for her when they located Trisha’s Ford Territory, which was perched on a dirt mound near the Blue Dam east of Andamooka. The vehicle was unable to be driven because of its location on the dirt mound.
