Counterfeit notes used in Mount Gambier

Police are warning businesses to be vigilant after counterfeit $50 and $100 notes were used in Mount Gambier this month.

Between Saturday 11 and Thursday 16 April, Mount Gambier Police received three reports that counterfeit notes had been used during transactions with three local businesses.

Police seized several counterfeit notes including both $50 and $100 note denominations.
