Truck fire at Aldgate

About 6pm on Monday 23 June, police and fire crews were called to reports of a truck fire on the South Eastern Freeway.

CFS worked quickly to extinguish the blaze not before the prime mower was fully destroyed.

Fortunately, the driver a 65-year-old man was not injured.

Traffic restrictions were in place at the time but have since cleared and the truck was towed from the area.
