A man has been arrested after eleven firearms and a significant quantity of ammunition was seized from a property in the Adelaide Hills.
Officers from the Crime Gangs Task Force attended a Bradbury address about 1.30pm on Thursday 27 August to conduct a search.
It will be alleged that police located a loaded .22 calibre rifle fitted with a silencer, two loaded .22 calibre pistols, one loaded .22 calibre Beretta, seven imitation firearms and more than 20,000 rounds of ammunition.
Police also seized ammunition reloading equipment and a quantity of cash.
A 55-year-old Bradbury man was arrested and charged with numerous firearms offences. He was refused police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday 31 August.
