Youths arrested and weapons seized at Salisbury

Police have made several arrests following a traffic stop in Salisbury last night.

About 7.40pm on Friday, 22 May, police were called to Kimber Court with reports of a disturbance.

Patrols later stopped a Ford SUV on Spains Road that was believed to be involved in the incident. A subsequent search of the vehicle allegedly uncovered a range of weapons and masks.

The four occupants of the vehicle were arrested.

A 14-year-old from Davoren Park, a 16-year-old from Hillcrest, a 16-year-old from Munno Para and an 18-year-old from Salisbury have been charged with weapons offences and possessing an article of disguise.

They were all granted bail to appear in the Elizabeth Youth Court and Magistrates Court on 10 July.
