Trading cards stolen in toy story smash and grab

About 8.30pm on Thursday 24 September, a man wearing a balaclava and armed with a hammer entered a toy store at a shopping centre on Beach Road, Noarlunga Centre.  The suspect smashed a glass cabinet and stole a quantity of Pokémon cards before running off through the northern car park.

Thankfully no one was injured.

The suspect is described as of Caucasian appearance, 183cm tall, aged in his mid-20’s and wearing all black clothing.

Southern District patrols responded and searched the area but were not able to locate the suspect.

Investigations are continuing.
