A second man has died following a fire at Redhill last month.
Just after 7pm on Saturday 19 September, police and emergency crews responded to reports of a house fire at a home on Hope Street, Redhill.
A 63-year-old Wirrabara man and a 64-year-old woman were found with serious burns and were airlifted to hospital for treatment.
Once the fire was extinguished and the property was declared safe to enter, firefighters located the body of a 65-year-old man inside the home.
Yorke Mid North detectives will allege the Wirrabara man attended the Hope Street address and deliberately lit the fire, resulting in fatal injuries to the occupant and serious injuries to himself and the woman.
On Wednesday 30 September, the Wirrabara man succumbed to his injuries in hospital and died.
Detectives will prepare reports for the Coroner in relation to both deaths.
Police reassure the public that this was not a random incident and all parties involved were known to each other.
