Three youths have been arrested as police investigate a series of break-ins at South Brighton this morning.
Just before 5am on Tuesday 26 May, police were called to a Folkestone Road home following reports of a break-in while the occupants were asleep inside.
Patrols attended and searched the area on foot, quickly locating two suspects hiding in the front yard of a nearby address. A search of the teenagers allegedly uncovered balaclavas, a knife and various stolen items.
A third boy was stopped on Broadway, South Brighton, and allegedly found in possession of a knife.
It will be alleged the trio broke into one home on Margate Street, stealing various items, and broke into two homes on Folkestone Road property. Police will further allege that a Toyota SUV parked nearby was entered by two of the suspects, with items stolen from inside.

The Henley Beach South teen was further charged over the alleged theft of a BMW SUV and two subsequent fuel drive-offs last week.
The 13-year-old and 15-year-old were refused police bail and will appear in the Christies Beach Youth Court on Wednesday 27 May. The 14-year-old boy was granted bail to appear in the Christies Beach Youth Court on 2 July.
