A man was arrested for drink driving and other offences at Whyalla Stuart on Saturday.
About 5am on Saturday 18 April, Police had cause to stop a Subaru station wagon on Nicolson Avenue after checks revealed the registration had expired.
Further checks also showed that the driver was unlicenced.
He was breath tested and allegedly produced a blood alcohol reading of 0.152.
The vehicle was subsequently impounded for 28 days.
A 32-year-old man from Whyalla Stuart was arrested for drink driving, driving unregistered and uninsured and breaching an intervention order. He was refused bail and will appear in the Whyalla Magistrates Court today.
