A teenage boy has been arrested after trespassing on an Adelaide CBD construction site.

Hindley Street police were called to North Terrace, Adelaide, about 4.45am on Saturday 31 October following reports a person had been spotted on CCTV trespassing on a construction site.

When patrols arrived, they located a teenager inside the compound who was challenged by Police Dog Griff and arrested.

The 16-year-old Happy Valley boy was charged with unlawfully being on premises and re-entering a declared public precinct, after checks revealed he had been directed to leave the North Terrace and Riverbank Declared Public Precinct earlier in the evening.

He was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Youth Court on 16 December.
